Lubbock, TX – County #161 stamp collected

We did a 10K in Lubbock today.  It was 91 degrees when we started.  The start was the Library and the walk followed brick streets to the Texas Tech Campus.  From there we returned back uptown passing the Lubbock County Courthouse and going to the Depot district before heading back to the library.

I love your photos. I have seen bronze statues of children and such all over the country, often in small towns.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope you post more walks on your blog 🙂 Annie

We do weekly walks that are on volksmarcher.wordpress.com. This new county blog doesn’t have much activity because they don’t sanction that many events in counties I still need. I will be traveling to West Texas soon to get some more new counties.

Think I will enjoy following your blog as I lived in Texas for a few years and my grandson still lives there now…near Dallas.
