The Year Round Event in Ozona gave me the opportunity to pick up another county. We had a nice cool breeze to help with the hot temperatures. The walk started at the Chamber of Commerce and then went through the garden behind it.
The walk continued out into the residential area with nice homes, churches, and interesting yard art.
We passed through downtown passing the County Museum with a pump of some kind on display in the yard. The park across the street had a 1936 county marker, and a statue of Davy Crockett. After crossing the river we came to another small park with a fountain and the memorial to fallen police and safety officers.
We walked some residential streets on that side of town.
We finished by walking back through downtown and to the Chamber where our car was parked.
