Walk registration was at the Poco Loco Marina. Very nice people. Thanks for letting the walking club use you as our start point for this walk.
It was 8 O’clock and foggy when we headed out to walk. We were delighted with the abundant wildlife.
Wild turkey were vey unexpected.
Hey! Turn around and pose for me.
I think the turkeys took their cue from him.
They finally turned around.
They lined up perfectly for this shot.
Further along the trail was more deer.
They weren’t a bit afraid of us.
And yet another one further along.
When we reached the boat docks we spotted some big white pelicans.
Not sure if this was a restaurant or a beer joint.
I like round buildings and this is two of them connected by a porch and on stilts in case of hurricane.
Fishing theme Christmas tree.
Heading away from town toward a small park.
Cloud reflections in the water along the road.
Pretty wildflowers growing in beach sand.
View of the pier (private).
Fog still over the water from the boat ramp in the park.
Turkey Buzzards warming their wings.
All four of them with them got into the act.
Sand dunes covered with brush between the road we were walking on and the gulf.
Back at Poco Loco, they have two boat ramps.
