Walking all 254 Texas Counties

10K walked in colored in counties.

10K walked in colored in counties.

I am at 75% complete right now.  I still need to walk a sanctioned 10K event in 62 counties. But the Texas County Walkers just sanctioned three new counties for the fall:  Childress, Cottle, and Foard. These are located in the Texas/Oklahoma bend where the Panhandle starts.  They are for late fall August-December so it will be awhile before I will walk there. If you are interested here is the complete list of the 62 counties I still need.

List of Texas Counties Still Needed

The walking events do not require membership in any club or organization.  We only request a $3.00 registration fee to defray the costs of printing the maps/directions.

So if you enjoy walking and seeing new places, you might check out the walking clubs in Texas.  We’d be proud to have you walk with us!
